Cookie policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any difference, the French version prevails.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site recognise you from one page to the next, secure a payment or measure visits. This policy also covers other trackers, such as the browser's local storage and pixels.
Some are essential for the site to work. Others are not, and for those your consent is needed before anything is set.
2. The sites covered
This policy covers:
- flywithmel.com: the main site;
- flywithmel-coaching.systeme.io: the sales pages, sign-up forms and order funnels.
The two work together but rely on different hosts. The cookies set are not exactly the same, and the way to change your choice differs slightly between the two (see section 8).
3. Your choice
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline cookies that are not strictly necessary. The two buttons sit side by side: declining is as easy as accepting.
Until you accept, no advertising or measurement cookie is set, and no data is sent to Meta.
On flywithmel.com, your choice is kept for 6 months, after which the banner is shown again. You can change it at any time (see section 8).
You can also manage or delete cookies directly in your browser. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop some features from working, including payment.
4. Strictly necessary trackers
These are used without your consent, as the site cannot work properly without them. They are not used for advertising or profiling.

| fwm-langue (local storage) | Fly with Mel | Remember your chosen language (French or English) | Until deleted |
| fwm-reglages, fwm-episodes, fwm-contenus (session storage) | Fly with Mel | Keep page content in memory so pages load faster | End of the visit |
On the sales pages

| CookieConsent | Cookiebot | Keep proof and details of your consent | 12 months |
| __stripe_mid | Stripe | Prevent payment fraud | 12 months |
| __stripe_sid | Stripe | Secure the current payment session | 30 minutes |
5. Audience measurement
On flywithmel.com
The site counts page views and clicks anonymously, as daily totals, without storing any cookie, identifier or IP address. This measurement therefore does not require your consent.
On the sales pages
Set only after you consent:
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tell visitors apart | 2 years |
| _ga_<identifier> | Google Analytics | Keep track of a measurement session | 2 years |
6. Advertising cookies
These measure how well ads on Facebook and Instagram work, and show my posts to people who may be interested. They are only set after you consent, on flywithmel.com and on the sales pages.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta (Facebook, Instagram) | Identify your browser for ad measurement | 3 months |
The related Meta pixel sends Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd information about the pages you view and certain actions: clicking a discovery call button, sending the questionnaire, requesting a free resource and, on the sales pages, purchases. Meta acts as joint controller here. Its own policy is available at www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
If you decline, this cookie is not set and no request is sent to Meta.
7. Other services on the pages
These services only load when you use them, and may then set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Spotify: the podcast episode player only loads when you press play.
- Calendly: booking the discovery call happens on Calendly's site.
- Stripe: payment processing, needed to order.
- Systeme.io: hosting of the sales pages, forms and files.
- Cookiebot (Usercentrics): collecting and keeping your consent on the sales pages.
- Sentry: technical error detection, used by Systeme.io. It does not track browsing.
8. How to change or withdraw your consent
On flywithmel.com: click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. The banner opens again and you can accept or decline again.
On the sales pages (flywithmel-coaching.systeme.io): click "Gérer mes cookies" at the bottom of the page. The consent panel opens again and you can change each category.
In any case, you can write to me at mel@flywithmel.com.
Withdrawing your consent does not affect what was collected before.
9. Your rights
Measurement and advertising cookies process personal data. You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection described in the privacy policy.
To exercise them: mel@flywithmel.com
You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority: in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr); in Australia, the OAIC (www.oaic.gov.au).
10. Changes to this policy
This policy changes along with the tools used on the site. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
